Tank Volume, Weight & Heater Wattage

Simply choose the metric or imperial calculator, input the length, height and width of your tank and hit Calculate.

These calculators account for the tank being filled to 4cm (1.75 inches) from the top, and return the volume of water, the weight of the water and the recommended heater wattage for your aquarium.

NOTE: Water volume will be also be reduced through displacement by the substrate, filters, fish and furnishings and the thickness of the aqurium walls. Weight will be increased by those items and the tank itself. The total weight of the aquarium maybe another 25% of weight of the water alone. The calculator does NOT allow for these variable factors.
