Bedotia geayi The Madagascar Rainbow 6, 1 to 2 inch mix sex young. Bedotia geayi is a native of Madagascar where it inhabits fast-flowing mountain waters. The geayi is distantly related to Rainbows of Australia and New Guinea via a saltwater cousin the Silverside. You can sometimes find this beautiful fish in your local fish store but you would be hard pressed to find one this good looking. This line has been selected for generations for it’s size and deep orange and red color. In fact (no lie) this line is so red that males will color up at a week or two old. I guarantee that when you open your box and pull out the bag, you will see orange red color on the male fish in the bag.
