Origin		Lake Malawi.
Social Behaviour		Not as aggressive as many other Malawi Cichlids however, do not combine with small fish as it's primary diet in the wild is fry.
Remarks		Formerly Haplochromis ahli. The eggs are fertilized in the mothers mouth but, once released, the fry are independent and do not return.
