Origin		Lake Malawi.
Social Behaviour		Territorial but aggression is usually limited to spawning time.
Remarks		Feed live foods such as snails, cyclops, daphnia. Flake will be accepted. The fish inhabits the rocky cost but the fish are usually found in open water where they can feed on planktonic crustacea.
