Origin		Bengal, Assam, India.
Social Behaviour		Peaceful and tolerant. May be shy initially.
Remarks		Dense planting makes ideal resting places as well as pieces of dark wood. Body marking differs remarkably between individuals from very regular to totally irregular sets of black bars (six on fish body and seventh smaller on caudal peduncle). Very delicate skin sensitive to mechanical damage (for instance by other fish).
