Origin		Amazon and Orinoco Basins.
Social Behaviour		Juveniles are peaceful but adults will not tolerate each other. Would make an interesting loner.
Remarks		Requires good filtration. Furnish tank with rocks and roots but omit plants. The fish will graze on algae and nip new shoots. Try feeding lettuce, cucumber or small live foods to limit this.
